Privacy policy
The website www.humanamente.pt is a digital project focused on content about health, well-being and personal development. This policy informs you about the personal data we collect, how we process it, for what purposes, with whom we share it, and the criteria we apply, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
Paula Cristina Lopes Gouveia, tax ID 254539165, resident in Nelas, Portugal, is the owner of Humanamente. You can reach her at humanamente@outlook.pt.
Definitions
This data protection statement is based on the terms used by the European legislator for the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The website www.humanamente.pt uses cookies. The term cookie covers various technologies that allow browsing tracking or behavioural analysis of the user. A cookie file allows its issuer to identify the device on which it was installed, for the validity period or registration of the cookie.
When you browse our site, information relating to your browsing may be recorded through "cookie" files installed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), allowing us to offer you personalised content adapted to your interests. The first time you browse the site, we ask for your consent to install cookies.
Collection of general data and information
The website www.humanamente.pt collects some general data and information, stored in the server's log files: browser type and version, operating system, referring website, sub-pages visited, date and time of access, IP address, internet service provider, and other similar data that may be used in the event of an attack on our servers and systems.
This data does not allow conclusions to be drawn about the data subject; it is used to correctly deliver and optimise our website's content, ensure the long-term viability of our systems, and, if necessary, provide law enforcement authorities with the information needed in the event of a cyberattack. Anonymous data from the server log files is stored separately from any personal data provided by a data subject.
Newsletter subscription
Visitors have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter, which contains content about the website and Humanamente magazine, offers, events, and relevant content on health, well-being and personal development.
Newsletters are only sent to those with a valid email address who have subscribed to receive them. For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent (double opt-in). We also store the IP address and the date and time of registration, to understand any possible misuse of an email address at a later date.
The data collected (the email address) is processed by the MailChimp platform and used exclusively to send the newsletter, and is not transferred to third parties. An unsubscribe link is always available in the footer of each newsletter; you can also request full removal of your data by emailing humanamente@outlook.pt.
Newsletter tracking
The newsletter contains "tracking pixels" — small graphics embedded in HTML-format emails — which allow statistical analysis of the success of our campaigns: whether and when an email was opened, how many clicks were made, and what actions were taken. This data is not transmitted to third parties and is used only to optimise the delivery and content of future newsletters.
Participation in giveaways
When participating in our internal giveaways and draws, the data requested (name and email) is used solely to follow up on the draw and to contact winners, and is not transferred to third parties or added to other lists or databases without express consent.
Contact via the website
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, the personal data you submit (name and email) is stored automatically and processed by the WordPress software, received at humanamente@outlook.pt, and handled manually. It is used exclusively to reply to the message sent, and is not transferred to third parties or added to any other database without express consent.
Data submitted when purchasing or subscribing
During the subscription process for services, the IP address of the device, along with the date and time of registration, is stored to help understand any possible misuse of the data at a later date. We currently use bank transfer as a payment method: if you choose this method, you will receive our bank details (IBAN) to make the payment. The data submitted at the time of purchase is what is necessary to deliver the product or service acquired.
Rights of the data subject
We comply with the rights established by the European legislator: the right to be informed, the right of confirmation, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, rights related to automated individual decision-making (including profiling), and the right to withdraw consent to data processing. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting humanamente@outlook.pt.
Use of Google Analytics
This website integrates Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation enabled, to analyse traffic and optimise the site's content. The operator is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA. More information about Google's applicable data protection provisions can be found at google.com/policies/privacy and google.com/analytics/terms/us.html.
Retention period for personal data
The retention period is determined by the applicable legal retention deadline. After that period expires, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, provided it is no longer required to fulfil any legal or contractual obligation.
