The final ceremony of the 5th edition of RedEscolas AntiCorrupção took place on June 1st, held this year in the Senate Chamber of the Portuguese Parliament.
This school anti-corruption literacy programme, promoted by the All4Integrity Association, was attended by more than 160 guests, including the President of the National Anti-Corruption Mechanism, Dr. João Mouraz Lopes, and the Deputy Secretary of State for Education, Dr. Alexandre Homem Cristo.
The closing ceremony celebrated the work schools carried out throughout the school year within their communities on anti-corruption literacy and the promotion of a culture of integrity, encouraging the exchange of experiences between participants and direct contact with decision-makers. At the end of the ceremony, alongside the Certificate of Participation for this edition, schools learned which digital seal had been awarded to them by the jury.
In the Viseu district, these were the schools taking part in the 5th edition of RedEscolas and the seal awarded to each:
RedEscolas AntiCorrupção is a school anti-corruption literacy programme, created and developed by All4Integrity, which promotes, within the framework of participatory democracy values and based on a project methodology built on its own pedagogical narrative, the development of school-age young people's skills — in a local context — related to the phenomenon of corruption and related crimes.
