Pianist Dinis Reis releases original track "Êxtase"

 

Dinis Reis, young pianist and finalist on Got Talent, presents the original track "Êxtase" (Ecstasy) as the launch of his solo career, with the music video already available on YouTube.

Born into a musical family, Dinis Reis began his training at age 7, and a year later the piano became his best friend. He devoted his days to learning to play this instrument with the mastery he shows us today. At 14, he released his first EP, titled "Deep Outside", featuring 4 original songs, but it's now with "Êxtase" that the young prodigy pianist shows the world he's ready to share his love for the piano on a solo adventure, aiming to captivate audiences the length of the country.

The composition mirrors the adrenaline a 15-year-old felt throughout his run on RTP's talent competition "Got Talent Portugal" in early 2024. The experiences and emotions lived through each stage, the pursuit of reaching "ecstasy", led him to compose the track for the competition's Semi-final, with which he went on to reach the Grand Final. The music (composition, arrangements and performance) is solely the work of Dinis Reis.

His musical style stands out for its emotional weight and deep connection to the elements that inspire him, within a very distinctive neoclassical atmosphere. According to the pianist, "sometimes all it takes is an image, a story, a bad day, or a moment of happiness. If the piano is nearby, the piece is born."

Dinis Reis, just 16 years old, is preparing his first tour under his own name for 2025, where he will perform "Êxtase" and other original tracks, starting at the Auditório Bocage, in Setúbal, on January 11th.

In a solo piano version or accompanied by an ensemble, this will certainly be a must-see show on next year's calendar.
