bp Road Safety Challenge returns to promote road safety

   

Another edition of the bp Road Safety Challenge has kicked off! Until March 27th, participants must develop their idea and submit a video about road safety and prevention for public voting and approval by the bpSS Jury.

An initiative by bp Portugal and Fórum Estudante, this creative challenge invites students from 9th to 12th grade to create an awareness video on the importance of road safety and prevention. Taking into account the five main risk factors (excessive speed, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not wearing a seatbelt, using a mobile phone while driving, and driving while tired or fatigued), the goal is to boost "youth to youth" communication and awareness on this sensitive topic.

Prizes include summer festival tickets of their choice or gift cards for participants, and bp fuel cards for the coordinating teachers of the five finalist teams.

The winners will be announced at the bpSS Challenge National Final, taking place on May 8th in Lisbon.
